Hepa dust bin filter to suit Hoover Ultra Power 5222, I-Vac Animal S50 & Sauber Technic SD-100 stick vacuums.
A dirty filter in a stick vacuum can cause the following issues.
Reduction in suction power: A clogged or dirty filter restricts airflow, leading to reduced suction power. This can result in poor performance and an inability to pick up debris effectively.
Poor filtration: The filter is designed to clean the exhaust air from your vacuum so it does not re-enter the home environment. It also protects the motor of you stick vacuum
Overheating: If the filter is clogged, it can cause the vacuum's motor to work harder, leading to overheating. In such cases, the vacuum may shut off automatically as a safety measure to prevent damage.
Shorter battery life: A dirty filter will make your vacuum work harder and may reduce the battery life.
It is important to replace vacuum filters on a regular basis.
